USAA Returns Record $3.7B to Members in 2025, Enhances Military Family Support

USAA is returning approximately $3.7 billion in financial rewards to its members in 2025, marking the largest amount in the association's 103-year history. This surpasses the $2.2 billion returned to members the previous year, reflecting USAA's ongoing commitment to delivering value to its military and veteran membership. The financial rewards are a result of USAA's disciplined financial management and proactive steps to reduce losses, alongside initiatives like zero-interest loans, payment extensions, and fee waivers during the recent government shutdown. In November 2024, USAA launched the Honor Through Action initiative, a five-year, $500 million program to enhance military family resiliency through partnerships aimed at strengthening careers, financial security, and well-being. USAA also continues to stabilize auto insurance rates, with its average rate changes lower than competitors, resulting in an average annual savings of $100 per policy for members. Additional member benefits include bundling discounts, the USAA SafePilot® program which saves members over $230 on average, and Connected Home services for early water leak detection. In 2025, USAA's personalized outreach efforts engaged nearly 3 million policyholders to help manage insurance costs and promote loss prevention. These efforts underscore USAA's focus on serving military families through comprehensive insurance, banking, and retirement solutions, supported by a workforce of over 38,000 employees globally. Founded in 1922, USAA remains a leading provider committed to its military community across eight U.S. cities and international locations.
