The Origins of the INSURASALES Platform

In 2004, our founder Brandon Todd and his father and partner Frank Todd were building successful companies in Patient Advocacy and Insurance Sales. They found that when it came to insurance, scaling was infinitely more complex and hard to manage than a traditional small business. Trying to do business with multiple carriers, in multiple states in compliance with 50 departments of insurance was challenging and beyond what any agent can do.

After years of banging their heads against the wall, asking large organizations for help who couldn't, hiring people in technology, management and insurance operations to “figure it out for them” they kept coming up short.

Finally, they realized… nobody knew how to scale an insurance agency or brokerage with efficiency and reliability. They had to do it themselves. They had to learn to develop software. Nobody could help them. It had never been done before.

So they began hiring software developers and started whiteboarding and developing. They developed the first online Medicare Agency that birthed in the industry what is commonly called "Call Centers" today. During its growth, they solved problems day by day, week by week and year by year to make each day better than the last for almost two decades.
