The Liberty Company Insurance Brokers has acquired High Ground Insurance Services, a brokerage and consultancy based in Torrance, California. High Ground specializes in workers compensation claims management, employee benefits administration, and loss-sensitive insurance program design, serving industries such as construction, manufacturing, nonprofits, and retail.

The acquisition expands Liberty's capabilities and workforce, with High Ground's estimated 20 employees led by CEO Greg Martin. Liberty ranks as the 42nd-largest U.S. business insurance broker according to Business Insurance. This strategic move reflects ongoing consolidation in the insurance brokerage sector, enhancing Liberty's service offerings in key industry segments.
