Progressive Personal Auto Insurance Policies Reach Record 25.7 Million in June 2025

The Progressive Corporation reported a total of 25.67 million personal auto insurance policies in force as of June 2025, marking a 19.2% increase from 21.54 million in June 2024. This figure represents a new record for Progressive, continuing a trend of growth in its personal auto segment that began in early 2024. Although the year-over-year growth remains strong, the latest increase is slightly lower than the 21.9% rise recorded in March and the 20.9% gain in April 2025. This sustained expansion reflects Progressive's ongoing market share gains and robust demand in the personal auto insurance sector, contributing to its elevated position within the U.S. auto insurance market.
