United Risk Global Strengthens Leadership Amid MGA Market Expansion

United Risk Global, a leading Managing General Agency (MGA) group founded in 2023 and operating 37 underwriting programs through more than 50 offices worldwide, has announced a series of strategic executive appointments and staff promotions to support its substantial growth trajectory. Richard Christofer has been appointed President and Chief Commercial Officer, overseeing new underwriting program acquisition and management of existing portfolios from United Risk's corporate headquarters in New York.

Christofer's elevation follows his instrumental role in building the company’s underwriting program roster and recruiting top talent, leveraging his previous experience at major insurers such as AIG, Guy Carpenter, and Gen Re. In parallel, Dónal Corcoran has been promoted to Head of International Business Development, reinforcing United Risk's global market presence.
