The Travelers Companies have announced the launch of TravelersLLM, a large language model designed specifically for their property and casualty sector. Developed by the company's engineers and data scientists, this AI model is trained on a substantial amount of internal documentation to enhance decision-making processes and boost productivity. Mojgan Lefebvre, Executive VP and Chief Technology & Operations Officer at Travelers, stated that this model combines extensive data and industry knowledge with cutting-edge AI technology, offering unique precision and context specific to Travelers.
American International Group (AIG) has appointed Nancy Bewlay as Executive Vice President and Global Chief Underwriting Officer, effective September 8. Bewlay will be responsible for shaping AIG's underwriting strategy. Prior to joining AIG, she served as Group Chief Underwriting and Pricing Officer at AXA Group and held senior roles at companies such as Swiss Re and C.V. Starr. Nexar and Nauto have announced a merger, combining their resources to form a robust base for real-world intelligence. Nexar's CEO, Zach Greenberger, will lead the new entity, while Nauto's founder, Stefan Heck, will chair the board.
