Transatlantic Underwriters Expands into Property-Casualty Insurance Lines

Transatlantic Underwriters (TAU), a seasoned wholesale brokerage specializing in trucking and transportation insurance, is expanding its portfolio to include six new property-casualty lines. This strategic diversification widens TAU's offerings beyond its core commercial auto liability and motor truck cargo coverage. The newly introduced lines encompass commercial general and excess liability, commercial property, inland marine, builder’s risk, and garage insurance, aiming to serve current clients more comprehensively and attract new business partners.

TAU has appointed Bernadette Flores as senior vice president of its property-casualty division. Flores brings 24 years of expertise in excess and surplus lines, with experience spanning contractors, garage, habitational, and hospitality sectors. This leadership addition supports TAU's growth ambitions and underscores its commitment to evolving within the property-casualty insurance market.
