Alliant Insurance Appoints Olya Yepremian as Senior Vice President

Alliant Insurance Services has announced the appointment of Olya Yepremian as a senior vice president within its private client division, reflecting the increasing demand for knowledgeable advisors in the high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth insurance sectors. Yepremian, a Certified Insurance Counselor, brings nearly two decades of expertise in managing risks for ultra-affluent clients, specializing in claims advocacy, business management, and reputation protection. Her previous roles include vice president at Momentous Insurance Brokerage, part of Marsh McLennan Agency, and a four-year tenure at Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.

The HNW insurance market, valued at approximately $106.6 billion in 2024, sees North America accounting for about 40% of the global market, according to Global Growth Insights. Projections estimate the sector to reach a value of $158.88 billion by 2033. Within this market, the HNW household insurance segment, significant to Alliant Private Client, is expected to be valued at $46.25 billion for 2024.

Industry brokers report a shift in focus among affluent clients from property-related issues to concerns about casualty and cyber risks. Kevin Daley, president of private client at EPIC Insurance Brokers, emphasized the rising significance of cyber liability risks, highlighting how affluent households are increasingly targeted by organized cybercrime. LoPriore Insurance research supports this, indicating that 43% of family offices worldwide have suffered cyberattacks in the past two years, with 30% of ultra-HNW families falling victim to cyber incidents.

Challenges in excess liability compound the complexities brokers face. Lead umbrella insurers are reducing coverage limits from $5 million to between $2 million and $3 million per layer due to the rise of large jury awards, known as "nuclear verdicts." Brown & Brown's 2025 market report further notes that securing coverage exceeding $10 million has become more difficult, often requiring layered policies across multiple insurers.

Olya Yepremian expressed her interest in Alliant for its focus on building client relationships beyond mere transactional deals. She stated, "Clients are making deeply personal and often complex decisions, and they deserve an advisor who listens first and acts in their best interest." Cindy Zobian, executive vice president and managing director at Alliant Private Client, commented on Yepremian's appointment as a testament to the division's commitment to serving clients with complex risk needs. "She understands what it takes to serve sophisticated clients at the highest level, and we're excited to see the impact she'll have here at Alliant," Zobian added.
