AuguStar Retirement Enhances OrionShield Annuities with New Features

AuguStar® Retirement, a subsidiary of the Constellation family, has introduced significant enhancements to its OrionShieldSM annuities, targeting Independent Marketing Organizations (IMOs) to bolster client growth and financial stability. The newly released OrionShield 10-year fixed indexed annuity prominently features a tiered premium bonus structure, which initially credits up to a 24% bonus to clients’ premiums.

This structure is now extended to clients aged 81-85, addressing a previously underserved demographic within the industry. Additionally, AuguStar Retirement has expanded its offering with new indexing options, including the addition of the S&P MARC 5 index and three innovative options developed through a partnership with MerQube. These enhancements aim to provide more diversified investment opportunities and refined risk management, intending to optimize risk-adjusted returns and adapt more dynamically to market changes.
