Pacific Life has announced a strategic collaboration with Selerix to enhance its digital Evidence of Insurability (EOI) process. This integration leverages Selerix's technology, allowing employees to efficiently complete EOI applications during benefits enrollment, receiving decisions in near real-time. The process also features automatic updates through Selerix's platform, simplifying the regulatory compliance requirements typically associated with EOI applications.

Gary Godin, Senior Vice President and Co-Head of Pacific Life's Workforce Benefits division, stated, “The integration with Selerix allows employees to complete EOI applications swiftly by answering a minimal number of questions, sidestepping the need for paramedical exams. Decisions are delivered rapidly in over 95% of cases, significantly reducing the administrative burden involved in traditional procedures.” This efficient process demonstrates the intersection of technology, insurance underwriting, and regulatory compliance in modern employee benefits solutions.

This development positions Pacific Life among a select group of benefits carriers that have fully integrated with both Selerix's Enrollment and EOI application programming interfaces (APIs). It represents a leap forward in automating and streamlining process flow, enhancing both payer and provider experiences within the insurance industry.
