ASCS Launches Public Entity Excess Casualty Programme

Amwins Specialty Casualty Solutions (ASCS) has launched its Public Entity Excess Casualty Programme, aimed at providing liability and workers' compensation coverage for public entities like municipalities, schools, and special service districts. The programme offers liability coverage up to $3 million per occurrence and workers' compensation coverage up to $2 million per occurrence, tackling the challenges public entities face in obtaining comprehensive insurance solutions.

Supported by 'A-' rated carriers and a panel of global reinsurers, the programme includes a range of coverages such as auto, employee benefits, employment practices, and various legal liabilities. It caters to both individual risks and pools, with a focus on meeting the diverse needs of public entities, requiring a minimum premium of $200,000 per account and self-insured retention of $100,000.

ASCS president Andrew Kay emphasized that this programme positions ASCS as a leader in the public entity market, allowing these entities to access an all-in-one solution for their insurance needs. The launch of this programme aligns with ASCS's goal of offering innovative risk management solutions to meet the demands of the public sector.
