Heritage Insurance Company, a super-regional property and casualty insurer operating in 13 U.S. states, has completed the deployment of Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter on the cloud platform, enhancing its policy administration, underwriting, and billing processes for homeowners and dwelling fire insurance lines. This implementation follows the company's earlier transition to Guidewire ClaimCenter in 2023, marking Heritage as a full Guidewire InsuranceSuite user in the cloud, which streamlines operations and increases agility in market responsiveness. The project was led by PwC, a Guidewire PartnerConnect Consulting Global Strategic member, highlighting collaboration between technology and consulting partners to support Heritage’s operational transformation. Heritage's Chief Information Officer notes that the cloud platform has improved internal workflows, enabling faster rate updates and more configurable underwriting rules without the need for code changes, thus supporting quicker adaptation to market and regulatory shifts. The deployment preserves existing workflows for agents, ensuring a seamless transition and enhanced communication between agents and underwriters through more intuitive notifications.
