Baltimore Agent Convicted of Insurance Fraud and Obstruction
A Baltimore County jury convicted Michael C. Okolo, a former insurance agent and financial advisor, of insurance fraud and obstruction of justice. Okolo misappropriated $36,500 from a client, intended for life insurance and annuity premiums, by altering checks to deposit funds into his business account. Additionally, he fabricated a letter to obstruct justice during his trial.
