Florida Proposes Employee Health Choices Marketplace with Individual Coverage HRAs
Florida is considering legislation to create a marketplace allowing employees to utilize their premium contributions via individual coverage health reimbursement arrangements (HRAs). This initiative, titled the Florida Employee Health Choices Program, builds upon the state's previous health insurance marketplace with voluntary participation for both employers and individuals. Medicaid recipients could also redirect their benefits to purchase coverage within this marketplace.
