The revenues of the seven largest U.S. health insurance companies—Centene, Cigna, CVS Health/Aetna, Elevance, Humana, Molina, and UnitedHealth Group—have tripled over the past decade, increasing from $511 billion in 2014 to $1.517 trillion in 2024. These companies have collectively generated $10.4 trillion in revenue during this period.
