USAA Appoints Rob Arena as President of Life Insurance Company

USAA has appointed Rob Arena as the new President of USAA Life Insurance Company, effective January 5, 2026. Arena brings over 30 years of experience in life insurance, retirement solutions, and asset management. Prior to this role, he served as co-president of Global Atlantic Financial Group, and held senior leadership positions at The Hartford and Prudential, focusing on retail product development and distribution. This leadership transition aims to further strengthen USAA's life and retirement offerings for its membership base.



Rob Arena has been a USAA member for more than 30 years and has a personal connection to the military community, with his father having served as a U.S. Army Captain in the 1960s. This background aligns with USAA's mission to provide financial security solutions to military members, veterans, and their families. His appointment signals a strategic focus on serving these members through innovative and comprehensive financial products.
