Bamboo Insurance, a US property-casualty managing general agency, has expanded its homeowners insurance offerings to Texas, targeting underserved and disrupted markets. The company, already established in California, aims to provide personalized, transparent, and accessible home insurance products tailored to individual customer needs in Texas, continuing its approach of serving regions where other carriers have withdrawn. Following a majority stake acquisition by White Mountains Insurance in early 2024, with an investment of approximately $285 million, Bamboo is positioned to expand its market presence with enhanced financial backing and maintain its commitment to fair coverage in the state.
