Health Insurers to Cover Recommended Vaccines Through 2026

Johnson County Public Health confirms that health insurance plans will continue to cover recommended vaccines through at least the end of 2026. America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) announced that its members will cover all vaccines recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) with no cost-sharing, including updated COVID-19 and influenza vaccines due this fall. Local health authorities also provide vaccines via state and federally funded programs, ensuring broad access to immunizations for eligible residents.
