Legacy Risk Solutions, a network of independent insurance agencies based in Gainesville, Georgia, has merged with PointeNorth Insurance Group, headquartered in Atlanta. The consolidated entity, operating under the Legacy Risk Solutions name, employs over 600 professionals across 40 offices. Both firms have pursued aggressive acquisition strategies, collectively acquiring more than 55 agencies, including recent expansion by PointeNorth into Alabama. The merger enhances Legacy's product portfolio by incorporating specialty insurance solutions targeting sectors such as hospitality, trucking, investment real estate, property management, construction, and transportation. This strategic combination aims to broaden market reach and provide agents with diversified commercial and personal lines options.
