In July, Jacobson tragically jumped to his death from a penthouse apartment in New York, a shocking event that has drawn attention to the actions of the financial advisors involved. Joan Jacobson is suing the advisors and several insurance companies, including USAA Life Insurance Company and New York Life, for $2 million in damages.
