HCI Group Expands Catastrophe Reinsurance Program for 2025-2026 Treaty Year

HCI Group has completed its catastrophe reinsurance programs for the 2025-2026 treaty year, spanning from June 1, 2025, to May 31, 2026. The company structured its program into three distinct reinsurance towers to cover various policy types and geographic areas. Reinsurance Tower 1 insures Florida-based policies for Homeowners Choice Property & Casualty Insurance Company and Tailrow Insurance Exchange, both associated with HCI. Tower 2 covers all TypTap Insurance Company policies nationwide and Homeowners Choice policies outside Florida. Tower 3 protects Florida-issued policies from Condo Owners Reciprocal Exchange, also sponsored by HCI.
