Amazon Pharmacy Expands Features for Medication Management and Medicare Access

Amazon Pharmacy has introduced new features to simplify medication management, particularly for caregivers and older adults with complicated prescriptions. The platform now enables verified family members or trusted individuals to manage medications on behalf of patients through their Amazon accounts, enhancing convenience and oversight.
Additionally, Amazon is expanding its PillPack service availability to Medicare Part D beneficiaries, covering over 50 million enrollees. PillPack provides pre-sorted, time-labeled medication packets delivered monthly, aiding patients managing multiple prescriptions and allowing insurance to cover costs for eligible users.
