Travelers, a prominent U.S. property casualty insurer, has launched Quantum Yacht 2.0, an enhanced yacht insurance product designed to offer personalized and comprehensive coverage options tailored for yacht owners.

The upgraded product features a user-friendly quoting platform intended to simplify the issuance process for agents, facilitating better service and business growth. Quantum Yacht 2.0 defines yachts as watercraft measuring 27 feet or longer and includes base policy coverages such as salvage, wreck removal, uninsured/underinsured boaters protection, personal property, medical payments, emergency towing, fuel spill liability, and dinghy coverage.

Additionally, the platform supports customizable coverages to address varied customer needs and budget considerations, reflecting a market trend toward more flexible insurance solutions in the specialty lines sector. The new product is initially available in select states including Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, and Virginia, with plans for further geographic expansion.
