Amica Insurance Tops JD Power 2026 Auto Claims Satisfaction Study

Amica Insurance has once again demonstrated its industry-leading customer service, achieving the top spot in the JD Power 2026 U.S. Auto Claims Satisfaction Study. This recognition highlights the insurer's ability to gain customer trust and provide reliable support throughout the auto claims process.

With a score of 775 out of 1,000, Amica surpassed the industry average by a remarkable 75 points, improving its performance by 57 points since last year. This achievement reflects Amica's excellence in key areas such as trust, fairness of settlement, and ease of communication. Ted Shallcross, Amica's Chairman, President, and CEO, emphasized the importance of trust and communication with policyholders, especially during challenging times, as essential components of their business model. Amica's recognition is not an isolated success; earlier this year, it secured the top position in the JD Power U.S. Property Claims Satisfaction Study for the 12th time, alongside obtaining first place in the JD Power Home Insurance Study as well as highest satisfaction in the New England Region.

Since its founding in 1907, Amica Mutual Insurance Company has built a legacy as the oldest mutual automobile insurer in the United States, headquartered in Lincoln, Rhode Island. Their offering extends beyond auto insurance, providing home, life, and umbrella policies. This wide portfolio, coupled with their A+ financial stability rating from AM Best, underscores the company's commitment to customer service—a commitment that has placed Amica on Forbes' list of America's Best Insurance Companies for six consecutive years. The latest accolades from JD Power reinforce Amica’s position as a leader in service quality and customer care within the insurance industry.
