Hussain's move from his position as Global Chief Actuary is part of a broader strategic restructuring within the company. With a robust background that includes roles at The Hartford and PartnerRe, Hussain brings a wealth of experience to his new role. His appointment aims to bolster risk assessment and management capabilities at AIG, a priority emphasized by CEO Eric Andersen. Graham Fulcher, who joined AIG in 2022, will step into the role of Chief Actuary, reporting from London. Neptune Insurance Holdings has added David Noble to its board as an independent director. Noble is recognized for his extensive involvement in digital banking and brokerage, reflected in his tenure at firms like RBC and Morgan Stanley. Neptune's strategic board expansion occurs as the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) operates under a temporary extension until December 11. Amid these developments, private carriers collectively manage approximately 643,000 flood policies, contrasting with the NFIP's 4.55 million.

Tokio Marine HCC's Cyber & Professional Lines Group (CPLG) has promoted Jonathan Holmes to Senior Vice President of Professional Lines. In related adjustments, Parametrix has appointed Tresa Stephens to lead US underwriting.
