Oregon Partners with Insurance Industry to Enhance Wildfire Home Protection

Oregon's State Fire Marshal Mariana Ruiz-Temple has entered a partnership with the Insurance Institute for Business and Home Safety (IBHS), a nonprofit supported by the insurance industry.

This collaboration aims to assist Oregon homeowners in enhancing their property's resilience against wildfires, which also helps in managing insurance premium costs. The memorandum of agreement focuses on leveraging IBHS's research and resources to promote fire-resistant home improvements and better risk mitigation strategies in Oregon's wildfire-prone areas.
