Covu, a Redwood City-based AI-native insurance services company, has acquired CIII Insurance Services, a Clayton-based client management firm. This deal, with undisclosed terms, brings a portfolio of commercial and personal property and casualty clients along with established relationships with major carriers including Chubb and Travelers. The acquisition aims to expand Covu's AI-powered platform, enhancing customer service and operational efficiencies for insurance agencies through a combination of advanced technology and human support.

Under CEO Ali Safavi, Covu focuses on delivering AI-driven customer servicing and operational solutions tailored for insurance agencies. CIII’s operations will transition to Covu’s remote-first infrastructure, facilitating scalable growth with integrated AI support. This strategic move positions Covu to strengthen its market presence and improve service capabilities for its clients.
