Johnson Lambert Launches Financial & Operations Advisory for Insurance

Johnson Lambert, an IPA 200 firm based in Raleigh, North Carolina, with a fiscal year net revenue of $55.9 million, has introduced a Financial & Operations Advisory (FOA) practice mainly aimed at the insurance sector. This new offering will enhance the firm’s advisory services in areas such as financial operations, regulatory compliance, reporting, transactions, and system implementations.

Initially, the focus will be on serving commercial insurance carriers, captive insurance entities, risk retention groups, managing general agents, and specialized insurance firms. Additionally, the firm will extend its advisory support to nonprofit sectors and employee benefit plans.

“Launching our Financial & Operations Advisory practice is a natural evolution for Johnson Lambert,” said Managing Partner Brandy Vannoy, highlighting the new practice as an extension of the firm’s expertise and a strategic move to meet a wider range of client needs.

The FOA practice comprises six distinct service areas and is headed by Principal Brandon Veler. He noted, “Insurance organizations we work with are navigating real operational pressure points. Whether it’s leadership turnover, new regulatory requirements, or major system implementations, organizations need experienced professionals who can step in and move critical work forward without pulling internal finance teams away from their day-to-day responsibilities.”
