With its SmartGuard™ technology, this device provides automatic insulin adjustments every five minutes. The introduction of MiniMed Flex™ is significant as Medicare users have consistently exceeded recommended glycemic targets, enhancing diabetes management outcomes. The system currently works with the Simplera Sync™ sensor, with future plans to support the Abbott Instinct sensor, aiming to ease diabetes management for a wider population.
