Aon Appoints Sean Deehan as CEO of Strategy and Technology Group in Asia-Pacific

Aon plc has appointed Sean Deehan as the CEO of its Strategy and Technology Group for the Asia-Pacific region. Operating from Hong Kong, Deehan will focus on expanding the company’s advisory, analytics, and technology services within this fast-evolving market. A key responsibility will involve promoting the adoption of Aon's Life Risk Modeling Suite, particularly the PathWise platform, which streamlines complex actuarial processes for life insurance and annuity teams.

Deehan transitions from Willis Towers Watson, where he served as the Greater China divisional leader, managing operations in Hong Kong and Macau. His 25-year tenure in the insurance sector includes extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, actuarial management, and risk oversight, with senior executive roles such as CEO and executive director of Standard Life (Asia).

Reporting to Sherif Zakhary, the global CEO of Aon’s Strategy and Technology Group and Inpoint, Deehan is expected to leverage his leadership skills to align business objectives and enhance service offerings across the Asia-Pacific market. His strategic insights will be crucial in navigating the region's regulatory compliance requirements and optimizing technology-driven insurance solutions.
