Transformative Partnership Between DXC Technology and Wilton Re

DXC Technology, a leader in enterprise technology, has successfully completed a significant transformation project with Wilton Re, a prominent acquirer of life and annuity in-force business blocks. This project involved migrating over 400,000 policies to DXC's innovative cloud-based insurance policy administration platform. The achievement was possible due to the synergy of DXC’s capabilities in insurance Business Process Services (BPS), conversion expertise, and operational support, combined with Wilton Re’s risk management acumen and experience in large-scale transformations.

Over the past two decades, Wilton Re has significantly expanded its portfolio, necessitating efficient integration of its newly acquired life and annuity businesses. This growth demands seamless migration of various systems and data structures without disrupting policyholder experiences. To support future expansion, Wilton Re has adopted DXC's Wealth Management Accelerator (wmA) platform, enhancing integration processes and operational effectiveness while paving the way for future AI-driven initiatives.

Ray August, President of DXC Insurance Software and Business Process Services, highlighted the long-standing partnership with Wilton Re. He noted the transformation as one of the most complex endeavors undertaken, establishing a solid foundation for future acquisitions and operational improvements. This collaboration underscores DXC’s role in bolstering Wilton Re's operational efficiency and integration capabilities.

DXC BPS plays a crucial role in managing Wilton Re's core insurance operations, including policy administration, claims processing, and customer service. With a globally distributed team of insurance specialists, DXC has administered over 13 million policies and executed more than 200 system conversions. This partnership has been pivotal in Wilton Re’s growth from 5,000 policies in 2005 to more than 500,000 policies today.

Enrico Treglia, Senior Advisor at Wilton Re, emphasized that DXC’s contribution extends beyond technology provision, highlighting their integral role in daily operations and acquisition integrations. This collaboration has been essential in enhancing operational efficiency and maintaining high service standards, setting an industry benchmark.

With the implementation of the wmA platform, Wilton Re is well-positioned to harness future AI-enabled capabilities without additional core system changes. This initiative bolsters their cloud infrastructure, supporting ongoing innovation and strategic growth.
