Quandri and FirstChoice Form Strategic Alliance to Enhance Insurance Automation
Quandri, a company specializing in AI solutions for insurance, has formed a strategic alliance with FirstChoice, a significant network of insurance agencies in the United States, part of MarshBerry. This collaboration aims to enhance the reach of Quandri's specialized AI platform amongst FirstChoice's member agencies.
This move addresses the ongoing challenge faced by independent insurance agencies: the need to manage a growing number of policies and complexities without additional resources. As the pool of experienced professionals dwindles, automation is increasingly viewed as a vital tool to boost operational capacity, consistency, and efficiency.
Jackson Fregeau, CEO and co-founder of Quandri, highlights the impact of automation, stating, “For independent agencies, the gap between the service they want to deliver and the service they have the capacity to deliver often comes down to how much time teams spend on administrative work. Automation closes that gap, freeing account managers to work at the top of their license and focus on client interactions that drive retention and revenue.”
The Quandri platform is designed to streamline the renewal process, one of the most labor-intensive tasks for agencies. By analyzing policies up for renewal and generating insights for remarketing, it enables account managers to communicate effectively with clients through personalized approaches at a larger scale.
Heath Shearon, Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at FirstChoice/MarshBerry, noted the potential benefits of implementing this technology. “Every agency owner I talk to is looking for the same thing: How do we create a better experience for our clients while making life easier for our teams? That’s where technology can make a real difference,” he said. This sentiment was echoed by James D. Chapman of Ausband Chapman Insurance, who has seen significant improvements in client interaction due to Quandri’s automation.
Quandri's solution is already making waves within the MarshBerry ecosystem. By significantly boosting client outreach capabilities, agencies like Ausband Chapman have moved towards more proactive service models.
Quandri, which has gained recognition through platforms such as CB Insights InsurTech 50 and Deloitte Technology’s Fast 50, continues to grow its influence across North American insurance agencies. The company promises to maintain its commitment to enhancing agency efficiency and strengthening client relationships through its AI-driven approach.
FirstChoice, with around $2.67 billion in property and casualty revenue through 750 agencies, has played a pivotal role in transitioning captive agents into independent agency ownership since 2015. MarshBerry, known for their consulting services, acquired FirstChoice in 2022, further integrating its resources into MarshBerry's existing offerings.
