Ress Life Investments to Divest Majority of US Life Insurance Portfolio Through Tranche Sales
Ress Life Investments A/S (RLI) has agreed to sell most of its current US life insurance portfolio to a market counterparty at the portfolio's Net Asset Value (NAV). This transaction, structured in quarterly tranches through Q3 2026, aims to free liquidity that RLI will use to acquire new policies in the secondary market for US life insurance, continuing its strategic focus since 2011 on building a diversified and resilient portfolio.
As part of the deal, RLI retains a percentage of policy payouts and a portion of future portfolio performance beyond Q3 2026, enabling reinvestment without holding excessive liquidity reserves.
