Sapiens to Acquire AdvantageGo, Expanding P&C Market Presence
Sapiens International Corporation, an insurtech firm headquartered in Israel, is set to acquire AdvantageGo, a commercial insurance software provider, in a deal valued at $61.73 million. This acquisition is designed to enhance Sapiens' offerings in the global property and casualty (P&C) insurance market, particularly by strengthening underwriting workbench solutions. Upon completion, anticipated within a few weeks, Sapiens will fully own AdvantageGo, enabling deeper integration with Sapiens’ existing P&C platform.
The acquisition supports Sapiens' strategic goal to expand its presence in the London Specialty Market and reinforce its capabilities in the reinsurance sector. AdvantageGo’s underwriting workbench will be integrated across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia-Pacific, and North America, enhancing underwriting functionalities for specialty and commercial lines. This integration is expected to broaden Sapiens’ geographical reach and service breadth.
Financially, AdvantageGo reported a £9 million loss against £15 million in revenues for 2024. However, Sapiens projects double-digit revenue growth for AdvantageGo by 2026 and anticipates the acquisition will be profit accretive from 2027. This reflects Sapiens’ confidence in operational synergies and market expansion potential following the acquisition.
