Guidewire Services Ecosystem Research - ISG Study
Information Services Group (ISG), a global research and advisory firm specializing in AI-centered technology, has initiated a study focusing on service providers offering comprehensive support for the implementation and optimization of the Guidewire Insurance Platform within the property and casualty (P&C) sector. This research evaluates how these service providers assist insurance companies through consulting, platform implementation, and AI-driven cloud transformations.
The findings of this study will be detailed in an ISG Provider Lens® report, titled Guidewire Services Ecosystem, expected to be published in October 2026. This report aims to aid insurers in strategic decision-making as they increasingly prioritize digital transformation, using the Guidewire platform to enhance agility and streamline product launches.
The examination will assess providers' capabilities across the entire Guidewire engagement lifecycle, including strategy, implementation, and ongoing optimization. As insurers transition to cloud-based systems, there is a rising demand for partners offering integrated solutions that combine Guidewire expertise with cloud and AI technologies. This highlights a shift from basic implementation to comprehensive strategic transformation roles.
“Insurers seek strategic transformation partners rather than just implementation support," said Iain Fisher, a director at ISG. He noted that providers with strong Guidewire capabilities, cloud services, and AI integration are setting benchmarks for operational modernization and customer service enhancement within the insurance industry.
ISG's research team, in collaboration with global advisors, has engaged over 40 service providers through surveys to map out the service landscape insurers prioritize for their modernization efforts. The forthcoming report will deliver a comprehensive overview of the global Guidewire services market, providing a framework for evaluating vendor capabilities to aid organizations in making informed technology investments.
The study, authored by ISG analyst Manav Deep Sachdeva, will feature enhanced customer experience data, reflecting practical enterprise feedback on provider performance. Service providers not yet recognized in the Guidewire ecosystem can contact ISG to participate in this analytical endeavor.
