Lockton has appointed Aaron Culbertson as the leader of its U.S. real estate practice. Culbertson, who joined the company in 2008, previously served as managing director for the real estate division in the Western U.S. His new role will involve strategic development, client service enhancement, targeted investments, and expansion of Lockton’s market presence in the real estate sector. A priority for Culbertson is to broaden client access to Lockton’s real estate intelligence platform, which translates data into actionable insights.
At Brown & Riding, Courtney Kerr has stepped into the role of leader for the national private client practice. Kerr will guide the strategy, facilities, and underwriting standards for private clients across the U.S. With over 15 years in the industry and expertise in high-net-worth personal lines, Kerr also serves as the central underwriting authority, designing facilities and determining risk appetites.
Troy Johnson has been promoted to senior vice president of global growth strategy at Assurex Global. In his new capacity, Johnson aims to enhance multinational revenue and support expansion for partner firms. Since joining Assurex Global in 2023, he has been instrumental in forming multinational practice groups across North America and Europe.
Executive leadership changes are underway at Pennsylvania Lumbermens Mutual Insurance Company (PLM), with Steve Firko appointed as president while John Smith continues as CEO.
