Leavitt Group’s Day of Service Strengthens Community Ties

Leavitt Group, a leading entity in the U.S. insurance brokerage sector, recently held a company-wide Day of Service. This initiative, part of the Leavitt Engage program, aimed to strengthen community ties and encourage civic involvement among employees both locally in Cedar City, Utah, and remotely across the nation. Chief People and Community Officer, Brooke MacNaughtan, highlighted the significance of this engagement in fostering connections and dedicating time for community service.

During the event, employees engaged in various volunteer activities including blood donations with the American Red Cross, environmental conservation efforts like tree planting and trail cleanups at Canyon Park, and supporting local charities such as Iron County Care and Share. Diverse options for participation encouraged teamwork and personal commitment to meaningful causes, noted Laura Albrecht, head of the Leavitt Engage program. Employees also contributed by crafting blankets for children and preparing meals for those experiencing food insecurity.

Remote employees participated by writing appreciation letters to military personnel and first responders, as well as engaging in online sessions to help immigrant and refugee women practice English. Leavitt Group, one of the largest privately owned insurance brokerages in the U.S., operates over 80 agencies and more than 290 locations across 30 states. The firm combines national expertise with localized services in commercial, employee, and personal insurance, underscoring its commitment to community and client service.
