Leadership transitions have been announced across key players in the insurance industry, underscoring continued investments in specialized underwriting, distribution, and technology-driven operations. Companies like Liberty Mutual, ReSource Pro, Safety National, HDI Global, Marsh, and Xceedance are leading these changes with new strategic appointments.
Liberty Mutual Insurance has named Rob Marsh as the president of Global Risk Solutions (GRS) North America Specialty, maintaining his role as president and chief agent of Liberty Mutual Canada. Since 2011, Marsh has driven substantial growth and innovation, with Marc Orloff, president of GRS North America, expressing confidence in his ability to enhance specialization and bolster progress in the region.
At Xceedance, Swapna Allapur has taken on the role of chief people officer, tasked with overseeing the global workforce strategy amid the integration of AI and advanced technologies into core business functions. With a robust history in human resources at multinational enterprises, Allapur brings valuable experience from her previous tenure as chief people officer at Everest Group.
Safety National Casualty Corporation announced Mark Wilhelm’s appointment to The Council of Insurance Company Executives (CICE) Committee. This committee promotes collaboration among commercial insurance stakeholders and shares critical carrier insights. The group is set to convene at the Insurance Leadership Forum in October 2026 to discuss pivotal industry issues.
ReSource Pro has selected Michael Costonis as president of Insurance Business Services. Bringing a distinguished career from Accenture and CNA, Costonis will leverage his expertise in integrating people, processes, and technology to deliver enhanced outcomes for the insurance industry.
HDI Global appointed Philip Beblo as the head of property underwriting starting May 2026. Beblo will helm the Property Local Risk division, focusing on expanding the portfolio and bolstering international property underwriting capabilities. His senior roles at Everest Insurance and AGCS SE equip him well for these challenges.
Lastly, Marsh expanded Mark McGivney’s role to executive vice president and chief operating officer, while he continues as chief financial officer.
