Ascensus Appoints Dan Morrison as Retirement Division President

Morrison will oversee Ascensus' Retirement operations, reporting directly to CEO Nick Good and joining the executive team. His role will focus on driving strategic objectives and enhancing the company’s service delivery to clients and partners.

Dan Morrison expressed enthusiasm for his new role, aligning with the company's mission of supporting savers. He will focus on driving growth and making a significant impact within the Retirement business. With over 25 years of experience in the retirement industry, Morrison most recently led Government and Taft Hartley Markets at Empower. His extensive background spans sales, client relationship management, and participant engagement, starting from Merrill Lynch, underpinned by degrees in Mathematics and English from the University of Vermont.
Recently, Ascensus has received several industry accolades, reflecting its comprehensive support for employers, particularly small businesses. It was recognized in the 2026 PLANSPONSOR Defined Contribution Survey and won the PLANADVISER Adviser Choice Award.
