Gyde Acquires Avid Health to Enhance Medicare Technology
Gyde, a brokerage platform leveraging artificial intelligence to modernize insurance distribution, has announced the acquisition of Avid Health, a Medicare-focused agency in Palm Beach, Florida. This strategic move marks Gyde's inaugural acquisition following its public debut and aligns with its objective to enhance its technological presence in the Medicare market.
The merger combines Gyde's AI-driven framework with Avid Health's established expertise in Medicare advisory services. Avid Health has carved a niche in supporting seniors, particularly those newly eligible for Medicare, in navigating plan choices across Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D. The agency is recognized for its personalized support and educational focus, fostering long-term client relationships.
As part of the acquisition, Avid Health's brokers will be integrated into Gyde's proprietary platform, including the operating system GydeOS and the AI assistant Gia. GydeOS aims to facilitate client base expansion and identify cross-selling possibilities, while Gia enhances routine client interactions through automated SMS and voice functionalities.
Growth Strategy and Technological Integration
Gyde positions itself as a forward-thinking platform that merges human advisory skills with AI-enhanced operational capabilities. The company targets the expanding Medicare market, where increasing plan complexities and a surge in eligible beneficiaries underscore the need for advanced brokerage services.
Backed by $60 million in recent funding, Gyde's growth strategy involves partnering with and acquiring high-performing agencies. By integrating these firms, Gyde seeks to streamline processes, enabling brokers to provide proactive, data-driven support in insurance, health, and wealth planning.
Commitment to Client-Centric Services
Avid Health, established in 2021, emphasizes a high-touch advisory model, focusing on transparency and personalized client service. The acquisition aims to retain this client-centric approach while augmenting it with AI tools and scalable technologies.
Gyde's leadership emphasizes confidence in the Medicare Advantage sector and the future of brokerage roles as plan options become increasingly complex. They highlight technology's role in maintaining consistent, high-quality advisory services on a large scale.
Will Johnson, Co-Founder and CEO of Gyde, stated, "Avid Health represents exactly the kind of agency we built Gyde to partner with...Our job is to give their team the infrastructure and tools to grow faster without changing what makes them exceptional."
Gerrick Diaz, Founder of Avid Health, commented on the partnership, praising Gyde's leadership team for their clarity of vision and ability to translate strategy into growth, noting, "I trusted their vision and felt aligned with the way they move, fast, focused, and with purpose."
