Philipp Rüede to Lead SCOR Life & Health as CEO from June 2025

Philipp Rüede has been named CEO of SCOR Life & Health (L&H), joining the group’s executive committee effective June 1, 2025, succeeding Frieder Knüpling. Rüede will prioritize new business development, optimizing in-force portfolio value, and enhancing the segment's cash flow.

He brings over 20 years of experience in banking and reinsurance, including leadership roles at Swiss Re, where he managed capital management and structured solutions for both Property & Casualty and L&H lines. SCOR’s CEO Thierry Léger highlighted Rüede's expertise as key to advancing the L&H business transformation, profitability, and cash profile improvement.
