Vanguard Expands Investor Choice Program; F&G Partners with Voya

Vanguard Group has expanded its Vanguard Investor Choice program, incorporating 17 new investment funds and increasing the participant pool to 22 million eligible investors, who collectively manage assets exceeding $3.6 trillion. This expansion to 32 funds now includes offerings like the Vanguard Energy Index Fund and Vanguard S&P Mid-Cap 400 Index Fund, enhancing participation in shareholder issues for individual investors, advisors, and retirement plan sponsors.

F&G Annuities & Life Inc. has partnered with Voya Financial Inc. through a distribution agreement, introducing F&G's suite of annuity products to Voya's Wealth Management platform. Voya's clients now have access to F&G's fixed-indexed annuities, registered index-linked annuities, and multi-year guaranteed annuities. This collaboration allows Voya advisors to offer a broader range of retirement income and wealth protection products, leveraging F&G’s offerings alongside Voya's advisory network.

State Street Investment Management has expanded its MyIncome ETF suite, launching five actively managed target maturity high-yield corporate bond funds. Covering maturities from 2027 to 2031, these ETFs are designed to support simplified bond ladder construction and offer predictable cash flows. By focusing on yield, capital preservation, and liquidity, they provide increased income opportunities while enhancing risk management. As of January 31, the suite managed $298 million in assets.

VistaShares has introduced the VistaShares Target 15 TEPRTantrum Contrarian Distribution ETF, part of its Legends + Income series. This ETF tracks the largest U.S.-listed stocks held by David Tepper's Appaloosa Management L.P., seeking an approximate 15% annual distribution yield through an options overlay strategy. Aligning with the BITA VistaShares TEPRTantrum Select Index, which updates quarterly based on Appaloosa’s reports, the fund combines equity exposure with high monthly income to meet investor needs for diversification and stable income.
