Brown & Brown Inc. Appoints New Chief Information Technology Officer

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., Feb. 16, 2026 – Brown & Brown, Inc. (NYSE: BRO) has announced the appointment of Dorothea "Dori" Henderson as the company's new Chief Information Technology Officer. Henderson will spearhead the company's enterprise technology strategy, focusing on enhancing digital capabilities and improving technology experiences for both employees and customers.

Henderson's role will include collaboration with various segment and functional leaders to advance tools and processes for employees. Her responsibilities will encompass developing a companywide data and artificial intelligence strategy, bolstering system reliability and security, and supporting technology integration in acquisitions. She aims to accelerate digital capabilities and build a robust technology team.

CEO Powell Brown emphasized the significance of Henderson’s leadership. "Dori brings a strong strategic perspective and operational discipline at a time when both matter,” said Brown. “Her leadership will help ensure we continue delivering modern, dependable solutions that empower our teammates and elevate the customer experience."

Henderson's experience includes her previous role as Senior Vice President and Chief Digital Information Officer at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, where she led enterprise IT and digital strategy efforts. Her 18-year tenure at Collins Aerospace involved various technology leadership roles focusing on cloud engineering, cybersecurity, global networks, and mission-critical operations, as well as Business Aviation Digital Solutions as Vice President.

Henderson will assume her responsibilities on February 23 in Daytona Beach, Florida. She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and accounting from Penn State and was honored as a 2025 Modern Healthcare Leading Women honoree.
