Keith Wolfe Named New CEO of AAIS to Drive Insurance Innovation and Compliance

The American Association of Insurance Services (AAIS) has announced the appointment of Keith Wolfe as its new President and Chief Executive Officer, effective March 1, 2026. Following a comprehensive search process, Wolfe's leadership is set to advance AAIS's mission amid ongoing industry evolution and regulatory compliance requirements.

Leadership with Industry Experience

Jill Wagner Kelly, Chair of the AAIS Board of Directors, expressed confidence in Wolfe's ability to guide the organization. She emphasized his extensive industry experience and collaborative leadership as key elements in driving innovation within AAIS's regulatory compliance framework.

Before this appointment, Wolfe was the Chief Commercial Officer at Guy Carpenter North America, a position he held since 2024. His career includes a 27-year tenure with Swiss Re and GE, where he served as President of U.S. Property and Casualty (P&C) and contributed significantly to the company's growth.

Industry Involvement and Academic Credentials

Wolfe's involvement in industry leadership is notable, with board positions at AAIS, Maryland Auto Insurance, and the U.S. Treasury's Advisory Committee on Risk Sharing Mechanisms (ACRSM). His academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management. As a Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter (CPCU), Wolfe is also a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO).
