Crosstie Rebranding: AI-Driven Solutions for P&C Insurance
Crosstie, previously known as Gain Life, has rebranded to reflect its commitment to enhancing operations in the property and casualty (P&C) insurance sector through AI-driven workflow automation. Originating from Harvard University's Innovation Lab, Crosstie's technology integrates seamlessly with existing systems to streamline claims and operational processes, optimizing efficiency for insurance carriers, third-party administrators (TPAs), and self-insured entities.
Sean G. Eldridge, Co-Founder and CEO of Crosstie, explained, “Crosstie better represents what we’ve been building and how our customers use us. We bring workflows, systems, and stakeholders together, reducing cycle times, lowering costs, and giving adjusters more time for higher-value work.”
Platform Capabilities and Strategic Expansion
Crosstie's platform offers configurability and interoperability, addressing administrative challenges faced by policyholders, claim adjusters, and operations teams. It reduces operational burdens while enhancing scalability and integration within diverse insurance environments. The advisory board includes industry experts like Danielle Lisenbey, former CEO of Broadspire, Patrick Walsh, former President of Casualty Operations at Sedgwick, and Gary DeGruttola, former Liberty Mutual CIO of U.S. Retail Markets.
Eldridge emphasizes, “Our advisors are operators who led the types of organizations we serve. Their guidance has been invaluable in ensuring we’re solving real problems with practical, scalable solutions.” Looking ahead, Crosstie plans to expand its offerings beyond claims management to include customer self-service, loss control, and underwriting, with the rebranding effort clarifying the company's market identity and strategic direction. Leadership and product offerings remain consistent following the brand transition.
