Farmers Insurance Launches Farmers Asset Management for Wealth Services

Farmers Insurance Group has successfully launched Farmers Asset Management (FAM), a comprehensive Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). This development, announced on Thursday, positions Farmers to expand its influence in the financial services and wealth management sectors. The RIA operates under Farmers Insurance Group's established framework and received formal approval from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in early December 2025.

Headquartered in Woodland Hills, California, FAM is at the heart of Farmers' primary offices and strategic operations. Under the leadership of Zachary Schear, who also acts as the chief executive of Farmers Financial Solutions (FFS), this initiative signifies a significant advancement. FFS, a major broker-dealer division, currently manages assets worth $10 billion, highlighting the integration of risk management and investment strategies.

In a conversation with Citywire, Schear emphasized that the launch of this RIA is a strategic move aligned with Farmers' goal to address growing consumer interest in comprehensive wealth management services. This decision not only responds to industry trends but also enhances Farmers' regulatory compliance requirements and underscores their commitment to innovation and client-centric service models within the insurance and financial markets.
