Leadership Changes in Insurance: CRC Group, Integrity & PALIG Updates

Insurance Industry Leadership Changes: Key Appointments at CRC Group, Integrity, and PALIG

Significant leadership changes are underway at CRC Group, Integrity LLC, and Pan-American Life Insurance Group (PALIG) as they aim to enhance their capabilities in E&S underwriting, Medicare Advantage, and global human resources. These strategic appointments are expected to bolster growth and strengthen their positions within specialized sectors of the insurance industry.

CRC Group Expands Specialty Underwriting Team

CRC Group has fortified its specialty underwriting division by appointing Joe DeJesus and Austin Woita as underwriting team leaders. This move is aligned with CRC's strategy to enhance its underwriting expertise and reinforce support for retail partners. As a result of acquisitions and organic expansion, CRC has experienced rapid growth in its specialty and excess & surplus (E&S) platform.

The growth is highlighted by the establishment of dedicated underwriting teams focusing on casualty, property, and professional lines in strategic locations such as California and Colorado. DeJesus will operate from Sacramento, utilizing his expertise in brokerage leadership and underwriting support. Woita will leverage his extensive experience in wholesale distribution, E&S lines, and national agency engagement.

Integrity LLC Strengthens Medicare Division Leadership

Integrity LLC has welcomed Ryan Kocher as the senior vice president of Medicare Advantage. Previously a key executive at Cigna, Kocher brings over two decades of healthcare leadership experience to Integrity. His appointment underscores the company's commitment to enhance its presence in the Medicare market.

Bryan Adams, co-founder and CEO of Integrity, emphasized Kocher's prowess in team building and significant market impact. Under his leadership, Integrity expects accelerated growth, further solidifying its position as a market leader in Medicare. This strategic move aligns with Integrity's regulatory compliance requirements and payer-provider collaborations within the healthcare industry.

PALIG Promotes Ramos to Lead Global HR Strategy

Pan-American Life Insurance Group has promoted Ana Melissa Ramos to senior vice president of human resources, effective April 1. Ramos will steer PALIG's global human resources strategy, succeeding Bryan Scofield, who retires after 26 years of dedicated service but will assist in the transition in a part-time advisory capacity.

Since joining PALIG in 2016, Ramos has been vital in transforming HR functions into strategic partners, modernizing talent management, and enhancing the company’s people strategy. Her efforts span operations in Latin America, the Caribbean, and the US. With previous international HR leadership roles at Copa Airlines and Nestlé, Ramos brings a wealth of experience in leadership development and large-scale cultural transformation and will continue to be based in Panama.

These strategic leadership appointments underline each organization's commitment to growth and their focus on specialized sectors within the insurance industry. By aligning their goals with market demands and regulatory compliance, they are poised to navigate the complexities of risk management and claims processing more effectively.
