Price Forbes Re, a leading independent reinsurance brokerage, has made significant industry strides by appointing Alexander Ehrlich as Senior Vice President for Life & Health Reinsurance and Younkyung Cho as Vice President and Business Development Actuary. Both appointments will report directly to Isaac Sanday, the Global Head of Life & Health, highlighting the firm's commitment to enhancing its AI-driven prior authorization capabilities and regulatory compliance requirements.
Ehrlich and Cho will focus on advancing the company’s expertise in the bulk purchase annuity and pension risk transfer markets. Their roles include reinforcing Price Forbes Re's reinsurance advisory and transaction structuring services, which are critical for navigating regulatory compliance requirements and optimizing underwriting and risk management processes.
Experienced Leadership Strengthens Growth
Ehrlich brings a wealth of experience from his nine-year tenure with Aviva, where he led the Annuities Reinsurance and Structuring Execution division. His industry knowledge is complemented by his previous roles at Aquila Heywood and PwC. Cho, with nearly two decades of industry experience, has held pivotal positions at Swiss Re such as Senior Risk Actuary and Longevity Pricing Actuary. Her robust background also includes roles at SCOR and Groupama Insurance Company Limited, enhancing her expertise in regulatory and compliance requirements.
These strategic hires follow the recent expansions within Price Forbes Re's Life & Health team, signifying the company's proactive approach to industry growth.
