Industry Update: AXA XL Strengthens Broker Relations with Key Appointment
AXA XL, the property and casualty branch of AXA Group, has announced the appointment of Liz Rychling as Head of Broker Relations for Large Commercial and Mid-Market within the Americas sector. Located in New York, Rychling will report directly to Matt O’Malley, AXA XL's Chief Client and Distribution Officer. Her new role is set to enhance AI-driven distribution strategies, regulatory compliance, and operational productivity.
In her capacity, Rychling will craft and oversee distribution strategies, maintain and strengthen broker partnerships, evaluate performance metrics, and engage with internal teams to enhance service delivery. With over 25 years of expertise in risk management, industry regulatory compliance, and insurance underwriting, she is well-positioned to advance AXA XL's market presence.
Rychling's career, rooted in insurance defense law, progressed to her role as Senior Vice President of Risk Management at MGM Resorts International. There, she managed global insurance programs, including claims handling, for property, casualty, and financial lines. Additional leadership roles at AIG, El Ad Group, and Las Vegas Sands Corp., reflect her extensive experience in dealing with global insurance carriers and their compliance requirements.
