AIM and HDI Global Expand Aviation Insurance Services in California
Aerospace Insurance Managers (AIM) and HDI Global Insurance Company, a division of the international Corporate & Specialty insurer HDI Global, have announced the enhancement of their U.S. operations, specifically targeting the California aviation sector. This strategic move aims to introduce increased capacity and a wider array of general aviation insurance products.
AIM, as a leading managing general agent in the aviation industry, benefits from HDI Global's robust financial backing, highlighted by their A+ rating. The expansion in California enables AIM to offer comprehensive insurance coverage solutions for various aviation-related entities. These include policies for aircraft hulls, aircraft liability, and airport liability, servicing small aircraft for leisure or business. Additionally, coverage extends to hangar owners, fixed-base operators, public and private airports, flight schools, and charter services.
Since forming a strategic alliance in June 2024, AIM and HDI Global have steadily enhanced their U.S. footprint. With this California expansion, AIM now operates in 48 states, collaborating with over 150 brokers and agents nationwide.
